Raised in Chicago's Southside (Go White Sox!), DJ Xcape first immersed himself in the music scene as a performer in both instrumental and singing. As time evolved, so did Xcape's choice in music stylings. As a dj, Xcape worked to perfect his style of MC'ing,Mixing and producing by hitting the college club track. This along with surrounding himself with other talent led to the creation of a new sound. With the love and passion for spinning Top 40's with a club flavor to them, and a straight up feel for old-school, Xcape evolved into the south side scene.
